Which UK calculator do you need?
Most questions about pay start with take-home pay: it combines Income Tax, National Insurance, pension and student loan in one figure. If you only want one deduction, the Income Tax and National Insurance calculators show each band line by line.
Life events have their own rules. Statutory Maternity Pay pays 90% of average weekly earnings for six weeks, then a flat weekly rate. Statutory Sick Pay, redundancy pay and holiday entitlement each depend on how long you have worked and how many days a week you work, so enter those carefully.
Running a company or selling goods? The VAT, Corporation Tax and dividend tax calculators together show what a limited company owner keeps from profit. Buying a home in England or Northern Ireland, use the Stamp Duty calculator; Scotland and Wales have their own property taxes.
Every UK calculator uses 2026/27 rates and links to the GOV.UK source it is based on. The results are estimates for planning, not tax advice.
